Dans ce numéro de « Secrets d’Histoire », Stéphane Bern nous emmène en Égypte, sur les traces de la plus mystérieuse reine de l’Antiquité qui, il y a 35 siècles, régnait avec son époux, le grand pharaon Akhenaton… La sublime Néfertiti, « belle d’entre les belles », comme on la nomme à l’époque.
Dans ce nouvel épisode, nous allons tenter de lever les mystères de sa personnalité hors du commun et de son règne. Celui d’une révolution spirituelle inouïe, qui nous a livré tant de chefs-d’œuvre.

À commencer par le buste exceptionnel qui serait celui de la grande souveraine, conservé au musée d’égyptologie de Berlin.

Est-ce vraiment son visage ou la représentation élogieuse d’une nouvelle déesse que l’on adore? Qui était-elle au juste? Avait-elle autant de pouvoir que ses représentations le laissent penser? L’amour de son époux, le grand pharaon, était-il aussi sincère que l’on voulait le faire croire?

Répondre à ces questions, c’est déjà s’intéresser à l’influence de ses prédécesseurs sur le trône. Des souverains conquérants et bâtisseurs qui façonnent un royaume faste et prospère comme l’Égypte n’en a jamais connu auparavant. À commencer par le pharaon Amenhotep III, beau-père de Néfertiti, et Tiyi, sa redoutable belle-mère.

C’est comprendre l’Égypte antique et ses nombreux dieux. Le principal, Amon, dont les temples de Karnak et de Louxor célèbrent la puissance. Mais aussi Aton, le nouveau, choisi exclusivement par la souveraine et le pharaon. Un premier monothéisme. Une révolution.

C’est bien sûr aussi vivre l’incroyable aventure d’une nouvelle capitale, sortie des sables et décidée par Néfertiti et son époux. Telle la ville d’Amarna. Partager avec eux leur quotidien mais aussi celui de leur peuple. Les loisirs, leurs repas, le statut si moderne des femmes de l’époque.
C’est enfin se plonger dans les croyances toujours aussi fascinantes de l’au-delà. Grâce aux nécropoles de la vallée des Rois et aux momies à ce jour découvertes.

Mais qu’est-il arrivé à celles de Néfertiti et Akhénaton? Bien des mystères subsistent encore avec, de jour en jour, de nombreuses révélations.
Ce qui est certain, c’est que cette première tentative monothéiste de l’humanité n’a pas fini de nous fasciner, comme le sourire si noble et serein du buste de celle qui reste pour nous à jamais « La belle d’entre les belles ».

Hace unos 12.000 años, el ser humano pasó de llevar una vida nómada como cazador y recolector a una vida sedentaria como agricultor. En esa época, en la Edad de Piedra, se erigieron impresionantes construcciones. La primera parte del reportaje de dos capítulos examina el trasfondo cultural de las obras de construcción y muestra las dificultades a las que se enfrentaron nuestros antepasados.

Hasta hace unos 10.000 años antes de Cristo, el hombre era cazador y recolector. Entonces se inició un cambio decisivo. La humanidad se volvió sedentaria. «Durante millones de años, los humanos vivieron como cazadores de animales silvestres y de repente sus vidas cambiaron totalmente. ¡Esto fue mucho más radical que el comienzo de la era digital o de la industrialización!», dice el prehistoriador Hermann Parzinger, presidente de la Fundación del Patrimonio Cultural Prusiano. Durante mucho tiempo, la ciencia supuso que la vida sedentaria fue la condición previa para las grandes construcciones. Entonces, el ya fallecido arqueólogo Klaus Schmidt descubrió Göbekli Tepe en el sur de Turquía, un complejo de bloques de piedra de hasta 20 toneladas de 12.000 años de antigüedad. Sus constructores eran todavía cazadores y recolectores. Decoraron los pilares de piedra con elaborados relieves de animales. In northern Benin, each year from October to January, DRAMANE and ZACHARI, drivers of rattling trucks survive only to the rhythm of the cotton harvest. But in this very poor country, the cultivation of cotton dramatically impoverishes the soils of the countryside… Because the immaculate flower requires astronomical quantities of water to grow… water which in Benin is sorely lacking for the inhabitants who walk for kilometers on foot to find some… In this painful context, ZACHARI fights to load the meager cotton crops with a rolling wreck… DRAMAN he is seven days a week stuck behind the wheel of a huge truck, a «TITAN». He rushes to the ground, ignoring the pedestrians to deliver the port of COTONOU as quickly as possible. Even if his meager salary forces him to live on a small business, he is not the most miserable like those they meet on the road: The farmers and their children who work only to survive, the women who break stones under the blazing sun or the dockworkers who are paid twenty cents to carry a 200 kilogram bale of cotton.

«Битва за Москву» — широкоформатная, состоящая из двух фильмов киноэпопея Юрия Озерова, снятая совместно кинематографистами СССР и Чехословакии, при участии кинематографистов ГДР и Вьетнама. Созданная на основе документальных материалов киноэпопея с хроникальной точностью воспроизводит крупные сражения Великой Отечественной войны — первое героическое сопротивление Красной армии в Брестской крепости и первое крупное поражение Гитлера — разгром фашистских войск под Москвой. Здесь нет вымышленных персонажей, — только реальные люди с конкретными биографиями.

Второй фильм («Тайфун») охватывает события от начала разработки гитлеровским штабом операции захвата Москвы до основных сражений великой битвы за Москву. Рихард Зорге вновь сообщает правильную информацию о том, что Япония до конца 1941 года и в начале 1942 года не выступит против СССР, что избавляет страну от изнурительной войны на два фронта. Полководческий талант Георгия Жукова и героизм рядовых советских людей, как военных так и ополченцев, позволяют отбросить германские войска от окраин Москвы. Показаны масштабные кадры контрнаступления советских войск.
В фильме прослеживается идея превосходства военного таланта полководца Георгия Жукова и героизма рядовых советских людей над нерешительностью и подозрительностью Иосифа Сталина и глупостью и трусостью части высшего командования Красной Армии в начале войны.
