Прежде чем что-то делать, надо посоветоваться. Во-первых потому, что вы не знаете, как это делать. Во-вторых потому, что вам могут посоветовать, кто это может сделать вместо вас. А в-третьих потому, что вам могут посоветовать этого вообще не делать. Жители нашего Городка обычно советуются как раз в расчёте на третий вариант, и их расчёт обычно оправдывается. Советчиков развелось такое количество, что они стали сбиваться в стаи. Стаи называются ассоциациями и, судя по рекламе, всё время что-нибудь рекомендуют – жвачку, зубные щётки, противозачаточные средства. Но одно дело – советовать, и совсем другое – эти советы выполнять. К примеру, если судить по тому, что число советчиков всё время растёт, противозачаточными средствами они не пользуются. И только изредка появляются советы, которые стоит выполнить. Например, не посмотреть новую программу «Городок по совету» — просто смешно. Впрочем, если посмотреть, тоже будет смешно! Хотя и не просто…

Деньги, как и мозги, относятся к классу вещей, которых многим не хватает. Правда, жалуются почему-то только на отсутствие денег. Возможно, потому, что нехватку денег можно как-то компенсировать – достаточно где-нибудь просто подработать. Правда, в условиях кризиса это сложно сделать. Ведь сам этот кризис появился как раз из-за того, что тем, кому хватало денег, не хватило мозгов, а теперь уже не хватает и того и другого. И что особенно обидно – мозгов не хватило кому-то, а денег теперь не хватает всем. И если раньше многие надеялись хорошо жить, то теперь они говорят, что хорошо было бы выжить. Но если вспомнить знаменитое выражение «Человечество выжило, потому что смеялось», у нас неплохие шансы. Посмотрите новую программу «Городок на выживание», и вы сами в этом убедитесь!

«В городке» — юмористическая еженедельная передача от создателей «Городка» Ильи Олейникова и Юрия Стоянова, выходившая на канале «Россия» с 2002 по 2006 год.

Хронометраж программы — 8 минут. В авторской группе передачи «В Городке» было шесть одесситов и один новосибирец: Владимир Трухнин, Ирина Полторак, Светослав Пелишенко, Алексей Каранович, Игорь Осипов, Ян Гельман, Олег Росиин[источник не указан 407 дней].

Передача выходила по воскресеньям в 19:50 (перед «Вестями недели»). Как правило, каждый выпуск был посвящён какому-либо актуальному календарному событию.

Всего за 4 года вышло 155 выпусков.

С 2002 года параллельно с выпусками передачи Городок по воскресеньям в 11:50 выходят собранные по 4 штуки в один дайджест выпуски «В городке». При этом часть сюжетов (2-4) вырезается студией производителем в связи с лимитом хронометража программы в 24 минуты.

Рабочее названия программы: «Маленький городок»

В июне 2006 года программа прекратила свое существование.
