«ЧУМА! Вторая волна» — продолжение комедийного сериала о жителях вымышленного средневекового города Нищбург, посаженных на карантин. В новом сезоне гонец Уильям, когда-то принесший весть о чуме, отправляется на поиски Марты, пропавшей в конце первого сезона. В процессе спасательной операции он находит не только Марту, но и ее родную сестру Августину. Так выясняется, что легенды о потерянной в детстве сестренке Марты были правдой. Вместе они возвращаются в замок.
Барон, кажется, счастлив обрести пропавшую некогда дочь. Но с того момента, как в замке появляется Августина, вокруг начинают происходить странные вещи. На Барона совершаются покушения. Уильям теряет память. Вакцина от чумы оказывается отравлена. Печенеги прорываются в город. Опасность подстерегает каждого из героев, и кто-то явно не доживет до конца сезона.
А в остальном всё по-прежнему. Стражники стоят у ворот и обсуждают последние новости. Палач не хочет переходить на удаленку. Маленькая Баронесса Анна бьется за просвещение своего темного народа.
